Neofinetia falcata variety ‘Kikuotome’ is getting ready to bloom again. One spike already has buds, and the other spike is just beginning to form. This is the same plant shown here. I will post more photos once the flowers are open.

That’s some plant! Its last bloom was just two and a half months ago! (And it was beautiful then!) Wow!

This plant does usually bloom quite often, about every three months, but it had some difficulties earlier this year (my fault). The photos in my previous post are from 2007, and the last time it bloomed was in November of 2007. This current bloom cycle is long overdue. It’s back on track now I do believe.
