I’m captivated by the first photo. I can imagine being a small creature, lying back in the shady places and looking out at the foliage.

I think the same thing, montucky, but regarding the second photo instead of the first. How cool to be a little critter in that sea of tiny gold stars!

It truly is tranquil. You must just want to sit out there all the time.
When do fireflies (lightning bugs) come? That is probably one of the main things I have missed since moving to AZ many, many years ago…we don’t have them…and it is so magical to see them like I did growing up in Indiana and Illinois. Do you think you can get some pics of them in your garden when they show up? I guess it would be kind of hard to photo them at night. I usually go to IN in August or September and they’re gone by then

Fireflies are here now, Candace. I just started seeing them about a week ago. Last year was the most incredible year for fireflies! I’ve never seen anything like it before. I made a post about it!

I just looked at your videos, how fun, and left you a comment back then. That was in August, I must just miss them when I go back to IN every year.

I love, love, love the second photo. What kind of flower/plant is this?

You could move your vacation time to an earlier date, Candace
Hi Green Mamma! That plant is Sedum mexicanum.
