I found this really cool YouTube video on Technorati. Okay, LOL, I admit you may find it rather long and boring (unless you are Japanese since the only language spoken is Japanese) BUT…if you watch for just a few minutes you will be able to see what my Neofinetia falcata orchid plants look like…how small they are, the variations in size and shape, the kinds of pots they are traditionally grown in etc.
The video is called How To Choose Neofinetia and it is a glimpse into my obsession for those of you who might be interested.

Thank you for your comment about my cat stories. I appreciate it.
These orchids are so SMALL! I had no idea. They are beautiful. I can see why you have a passion for them.
Question: What kind of cat is in your avatar and masthead. He is so handsome!

Ah yes your story was priceless! I enjoy your blog so very much.
Yes, the orchids I grow are tiny, yet their fragrance is so incredibly big! They are beautiful and delicate yet remarkably tough, easy to grow, and they bloom often…a perfect combination.
That is a Sphynx cat in my masthead. He owns a friend of mine.
His name is Darby.
The cat in my avatar is Gracie Mae. She owns me. She is an Oriental Shorthair with a tremendously loud voice which she chooses to use most of the time to yowl or to scream at me just because she is alive and she can.
Here is a video clip of Gracie Mae displaying a tiny portion of her vocal talents:

I must tell you of the only other orchid grower I have known. He was married to an Hawaiian, was about 6′2″, bald, beer belly, and named Butch, but melted to an delicate gardner in his little orchid green house by the pool. It was the most incongruious sight.
