May Day Visitor

Today started off bright and sunny, but by the time I headed out to see what I could find blooming in the garden, the rain had begun to fall. I persisted, nevertheless, and was rewarded for my efforts. I can hardly wait to show you what I found, but I am headed out to dinner — so for now, perhaps you will enjoy seeing who came to visit me today as I snapped my shutter in the garden.

Insomnia

Four o’clock this morning saw me wide awake.
I decided to play with Gracie Mae and try to get her on video at the same time.
I’m not very coordinated, but here she is
playing in the utility room and being happy for about one hot minute.
Yawn…
I really need to get some sleep!
